Overview: This course aims to explain how sustainability awareness has impacted the evolution of furniture development. We will also cover specific techniques performed by the furniture industry to achieve the balance between economy, society and environment.
Credits: 1 HSW Credit with IIDA, ASID, IDC and all IDCEC participating members
Lunch will be Paella, made on-site by Chef Daniel with Land of Saffron. Paella is a rice dish originially from Valencia, Spain and Valencia is where the furniture from Andreu World is manufactured. Chef Daniel was born in Valencia and he is known in Virginia as the BEST Paella Chef around! We will also have tapas, fruit, sparkling Cava, sparkling waters, and more.
Jenn Spiegel with Lines 2 Love, your local Andreu World representative, will be bringing lots of new and classic chair and table samples to give you some inspiration!
